There is no cutoff. Unlike most drive-thrus, which stop breakfast around 10:30 or 11 AM, Sonic keeps the breakfast menu on from the moment it opens until the moment it closes. If your drive-in shuts at midnight, you can order a breakfast burrito at 11 PM.

A Sonic is car stalls and a drive-thru rather than a dining room, so staying open late costs less than it does for a chain that has to keep a lobby lit and staffed. That is part of why so many run to midnight.

Weather and season move them
